WHAT IS SPACECAKE?
We are an active production company with offices in both Vancouver Canada and Los Angeles, California. Over twenty years experience in film and television.
We’re totally committed to producing innovative entertainment with an alternative edge and a broadly commercial appeal. Film. TV. Graphic Novels. Virtual Reality.
WHAT WE CARE ABOUT
“What do you believe in, Crash?” “I’ll tell you what I believe in…”
The mystery, the journey, the joy of the riff, more love, less guns, a half full glass and a whole lot of laughs. We believe in the right to marry whoever you choose, home school, home birth, homeboy bakeries, a good story well told, the wind at your back and an empty horizon, straight Tequila and all nighters, Brooklyn, Torshiro Mifune, saving the Whales, the Turtles and the Tibetans…and while we’re at it, lets save Tom Cruise from the Scientologists, Thai food, Blues for Allah, Matt Taibbi, for commissioner of the NFL, and seriously, fuck Donald Trump.
But really we believe in leaving love and gratitude in our wake.
JON & SUKI
We write, produce and direct – both independently and as a couple. We’ve been married for eighteen years, raised two amazing children and circumnavigated the Pacific Ocean on a relatively small sailboat. We know about teamwork, a thing or two about problem solving, weathering the storm, finding the best solution and adventuring into the unknown. A lot of people ask us what its like to work with your spouse? For us, it’s really about bringing a collective lifetime of experiences to the project and knowing 100% that we each have the focus, determination and total commitment to carry out any endeavor.
Plus, we’re all about the LOVE
