REST FOR THE WICKED

Contained, period, supernatural.

Alaskan wilderness, 1864. The inhabitants of the remote mining community of DESOLATION PASS find themselves pitted against nature, one another and a sinister presence lurking in the primitive wilderness – as they struggle with the forces of violence and lawlessness to become a real town. A widowed TRAPPER discovers a STRANGER riddled with bullets and tied to the saddle of a blind horse. When the Stranger recovers, the Trapper and the folks of Desolation believe they’ve stumbled across an unlikely a savior – a man strong enough to stand against the sadistic LUCIUS HULSE and his depraved gang, who terrorized the inhabitants of the desolate mining camp.

But the pale Stranger carries a dark secret. A bloodlust he cannot escape and a past so unforgivable, it drove him to the farthest reaches of civilization… and Desolation is the end of the line. In a wild and haunted land, where shadowy creatures from an older time, stalk the primal forest… there are those who have seen men like the Stranger before. The TLINGIT Indians, who’s legends tell of a Demon that wears the skin of man and consumes the flesh of his enemies, the BOUNTY HUNTER, from the recent civil war, who followed a bloody trail of clues to find his quarry in Desolation and the innocent CALLIOPE, Trapper’s youngest child, born in the Caul and carries the “sight”, who dreamed of the day “he” would come…. A haunted world, where myth and reality collide and justice is the will of the stronger.
